This 262 m² space, operated by Mesa Viva, is an urban refuge that celebrates the connection between architecture and nature — featuring vertical gardens, large openings, and a palette that evokes earth, sky, and native vegetation.
In perfect harmony with this concept, the Cesto Armchair, designed by architect Igor Santos — a member of Rubatino’s studio — honors Brazilian traditions through a contemporary lens.
Its cylindrical backrest, crafted from braided leather strips, references traditional regional basketry, while the soft, seamless leather seat with organic contours avoids hard edges. The blend of metal, wood, and leather highlights the beauty of handcrafted design, connecting past and present through a gesture of permanence.
